The story of Elena and Emanuele didn’t begin when we first met, a year and a half before the wedding, but traces its roots much further back. They have known each other forever, bound by an invisible and precious thread that has accompanied them since their high school days. Seeing them together today is a testament to a love that has grown, evolved, and become a rock, while maintaining the authentic freshness of two people who chose each other when they were just teenagers.
As their wedding planner, our journey started from this very point: the desire to honor a bond so solid and rare. Between coffees and glasses of wine, I had the privilege of listening to their memories and transforming them into a vision. It wasn’t a short path; we dedicated months to finding the perfect frame, visiting various venues until Castello di Sulbiate spoke to their hearts, offering that historic Italian elegance we were looking for to host their young guest list.
For their “I do,” we chose to be guided by a sage green fil rouge, a symbol of nature and rebirth. This color permeated every aesthetic detail, from the bespoke wedding invitations to the silky ribbons, creating a visual bridge between the castle’s history and the couple’s modern soul.
Rock Vibes and Emotional Surprises
The ceremony at 4:30 PM was the beating heart of the day. A touching civil ceremony, made unique by a dear friend as the celebrant. But it was the entrance that broke all protocols: the music suddenly stopped to make way for the surprise of the bridesmaids and groomsmen as “flower boys,” sparking laughter and joy among the guests.
Then, a change of pace. To the powerful notes of “Sonne” by Rammstein, the most emotional first look took place. Emanuele, after entering with his mother, walked back to welcome his Elena. In that instant, high school seemed worlds away yet so present in those eyes that have known each other for a lifetime.
